1. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided by Tay & Grampian Electrical are valid for a period of 30 days. We reserve the right to amend a quote if unforeseen electrical faults or pre-existing unsafe wiring conditions are discovered upon commencement of the work.

2. Payment Terms

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the works. We accept bank transfer and major credit/debit cards. Materials supplied remain the property of Tay & Grampian Electrical until the invoice is paid in full.

3. Certification & Documentation

Where works require certification (such as EICR reports, Building Control notifications, or installation certificates), these documents will only be released to the client once the final balance of the invoice has been cleared.

4. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made without adequate notice may be subject to a nominal call-out or administrative fee to cover lost scheduling time.

5. Liability

We are fully insured for all work undertaken. However, Tay & Grampian Electrical cannot be held liable for damage caused to pre-existing fragile fixtures, or for pre-existing electrical faults that fail during routine testing and inspection.

By accepting a quote and allowing our technicians to commence work, you are agreeing to the terms outlined above.
